Oops!
We made the arrangements to go to Moscow last spring. In late summer we decided that we wanted to spend a few more days in Moscow, so we extended our trip a little bit at the front end.
Everybody was happy with us. Everybody, that is, except the Russians.
The trouble is, the visas that we acquired last spring aren’t scheduled to admit us into Russia until tomorrow. Meanwhile, today we’re stuck in the Copenhagen Airport. We’re tired. And I’m a little grumpy. Louise would probably say I’m a lot grumpy.
Will we find a place to sleep? What about our baggage? Will the Russians still have us tomorrow?
More to come.
Hope you find a place to sleep. I’ve tried sleeping while sitting upright in an airport — JFK, to be exact — and the memories aren’t pleasant!

I’m a good traveler. Takes most things in stride. But we were awakened by the alarm at four this morning and we’ve been flying for 18 hours. I can’t sleep on airplanes. The result: grumpy.

Hi Louise and Tom. Hilke and I were glad to see that the travel bug has bitten again. Enjoy Copenhagen. Have pleasant memories of two days there with my son and a trip to magical Tivoli Gardens with its rides, restaurants, and many .band stands. Enjoy Russia while you still can. Stay safe. We expect to be back in PV by the end of the month. Will miss you both.

Simon, so glad to hear from you! At the moment I could certainly use a dip in the warm waters of the Pacific worth a cool margarita under a palapa to follow. Think you could arrange that?

Great to read you arrived safely in Moscow. As for delivering a dip, and margaritas under a palapa no less, the snowflakes in Moscow make them seem a far fetched fantasy. Instead we shall have them on your collective behalf when we arrive in PV. Enjoy the snow, it could be Canada.
