Our apartment lease is up March 31, 2013. We haven’t made a wet-our-pinkies-and-shake commitment yet, but we have begun research into becoming expatriates: living out of suitcases, borrowing lifestyles, and chasing dreams.
In a perfect universe (we know, we know…), we will walk out of our Portland (Oregon) home next spring and relocate to Girona, Spain for at least six months.
After that… Well, we don’t have to think about after that. Not right now.
We do have to think about things like the mountains of stuff we’ve accumulated over the years. What about that stuff? What about visas? What about health care? What about banking? What about mail? What about…?
Well, I suppose finding the answers is what this blog will be all about.
